Interdisciplinary Research

The business school has two interdisciplinary research clusters, TREND and INFIT, to address the management and economic challenges of Pakistan in the 21st century. These research clusters are designed around complex problems faced by the Pakistani industry.
GIFT University is located in the Gujranwala division that hosts industrial cities of Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Sialkot, also known as The Golden Triangle of Pakistan that largely consists of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and contributes more than 5% to the Gross Domestic Product of Pakistan. It is; thus important to carry out research on complex problems and challenges faced by these industrial cities.
