Senior faculty member working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business & Commerce having more than 17 years professional experience. Mr. Mughal, Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, is a facilitator, Trainer and consultant in the field of Taxation, cost and management accounting, computerized accounting and management. He has practical experience of e-filing of tax returns and has conducted training at the SMEDA. He offered his consultancy services to various companies and a few of them are Vision Technologies, JoJo Foods, Venus Plastic Furniture, Master tiles and Careem. He has supervised Industrial as well as Business Plan Projects of graduate and under-graduate students.

His primary teaching and training interests are Cost & management Accounting, Planning & Control / Performance Evaluation, Decision Making along with Financial Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis. Have taught classes of MBA (Case Based), M.Com, MSc Accounting & Finance, BBA and BSc Accounting & Finance. He has also experience of teaching the students of professional studies of ACCA and ACMA. He has been a member of Academic Council of GIFT University from 2012 to 2015 and board of faculty and involved in the development of programs curricula.

Besides teaching, he has diversified experience of administration. Currently working as Head Department of Business & Commerce. Previously worked as Director Sports GIFT University from 2013 to end of 2018, as Registrar of GIFT University from April 2010 to September 2011, Controller of Examinations of GIFT University from December 2007 to April 2010 and Manager Student Affairs from February 2014 to December 2007.
