Qasim Nasim Mir is a lecturer at GIFT Business School. His area of expertise are Accounting and Finance. He has pursued his Bachelors from Government College University, Lahore in Computer Sciences. He further obtained his MSc. from GIFT specializing in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Qasim has also done a Masters from School of Economics and Management, LU, Sweden in Corporate and Financial Management. 

He has published a Research Paper on International Corporate Governance Comparison – Pakistan and Sweden (2009) whereby the analyses at country as well as company level was conducted, a detailed enquiry of existing CG Rating mechanisms was performed and a new model for Corporate Governance (CG) Ratings was given forth.

Mr. Qasim currently holds the role of the Manager Undergraduate Programs for the Faculty of Business and Commerce at GBS.  He is also heading the Society of Finance and Scholars (SFAS). 

His primary research interest is in the areas of Investment Valuation and Portfolio Management, Fintech, Behavioral Finance and Corporate Governance.
